Dongguan Tongke Electronics Co., Ltd. (CTK) has celebrated the topping-out of its Automotive Semiconductor Headquarters and High-End IC Intelligent Manufacturing Project. The CTK sales team attended the ceremony, marking a major step forward in the company’s automotive-grade discrete devices, power devices, diodes, transistors, MOSFETs, and IGBTs. The project is scheduled for completion in May 2026 and will begin production of automotive-grade electronics in 2027.

1. Topping-Out Ceremony – CTK Sales Team on Site

In late May 2026, the Dongguan Tongke Automotive Semiconductor Headquarters & High-End IC Intelligent Manufacturing Project (referred to as the “CTK Automotive Semiconductor Headquarters”) successfully completed its main structure topping-out. The CTK sales and business team attended the ceremony together with construction partners and industry guests, celebrating this important milestone.

During the ceremony, a CTK sales representative stated: “The rise of our new headquarters marks a solid step forward for CTK in automotive semiconductors and high-end IC manufacturing. This facility will be dedicated to the R&D and production of automotive-grade discrete devices, power devices, diodes, transistors, MOSFETs, and IGBTs, meeting the growing demand for high-reliability chips in electric vehicles and industrial electronics.”

2. Project Overview – A High-Standard Intelligent Manufacturing Base

Located in Dongguan, the project covers a total land area of approximately 13,379.22 m², with a gross floor area of 78,986.8 m², composed of three main sections:

Building 1 – R&D Center: 25,906.16 m², 22 floors, height 96.5m, max span 10m

Building 2 – Production Workshop: 41,267.96 m², 10 floors, height 59.53m, max span 9m

Underground Garage: 11,812.6 m², 1 basement level

Designed to Industry 4.0 standards, the facility integrates R&D, manufacturing, and testing, and will feature fully automated assembly and test lines as well as automotive-grade reliability verification capabilities. The project is scheduled for full completion on May 1, 2026.

3. Product Focus – Automotive-Grade Discrete & Power Devices

CTK has long been committed to discrete devices and power devices, with product lines covering:

Diodes: rectifier diodes, switching diodes, Schottky diodes, fast recovery diodes, etc.

Transistors: bipolar junction transistors (BJTs), digital transistors, Darlington transistors, etc.

MOSFETs: low-voltage to high-voltage MOSFETs for power management and motor drive applications

IGBTs: automotive-grade IGBTs for inverters, onboard chargers (OBC), and electric drive systems

All products are designed to meet automotive-grade standards such as AEC-Q101, ensuring reliable performance under high temperature, humidity, vibration, and long operating life. In 2027, the new base will begin mass production of automotive-grade electronics, with an annual capacity sufficient to support millions of new energy vehicles.

The global automotive industry is rapidly shifting toward electrification and intelligence, driving explosive demand for automotive semiconductors – especially power devices and discrete devices. The completion of CTK’s new headquarters will significantly enhance China’s independent design and manufacturing capabilities for automotive-grade diodes, transistors, MOSFETs, and IGBTs, helping to alleviate chip shortages while offering high-reliability, cost-effective domestic alternatives to automakers and Tier 1 suppliers.

CTK has announced that it will continue to increase R&D investment over the next three years, with strategic expansion into third-generation semiconductors (SiC, GaN) to further enrich its automotive-grade power device portfolio.
